Where language, culture, empathy and curiosity flourish

Explore what we offer

Spanish Immersion Program

Research shows that young children have a natural ability to learn multiple languages, and our Spanish immersion program offers them the chance to become fluent in Spanish, opening doors to a lifetime of cognitive, social, and cultural benefits.

Life Skills and Independence

Our kids are proud of the life skills they learn with us, including dressing themselves, putting on shoes and jackets, brushing their teeth, washing hands, setting the table and using the potty independently.

Real World Learning

Each week, we explore different themes like ‘Under the Sea,’ ‘Family,’ and ‘Pets,’ connecting children to real-world concepts and sparking their imagination.

Multi-Age Learning Community

From infants to preschoolers, our multi-age environment encourages younger children to learn from their older peers, while the older children develop leadership, patience, and nurturing skills as role models. Children of different ages learn together, grow together, and become a tight-knit community.

Engaging Activities

Our children experience a variety of hands-on activities, from gardening and cooking to sports, story time, singing, dancing, and arts and crafts. These activities nurture creativity, teamwork, and curiosity.

Preschool Program

We identify when toddlers are ready for a preschool program and help them develop early literacy skills - learning to read, write, and spell. We also teach them essential skills to be confident, curious, and ready for school.

Emotional & Social Development

Children in our program are taught to be loving, kind, empathetic, and caring. We help them regulate their emotions and encourage curiosity by asking questions and exploring the world around them.

Outdoor Play

We believe in the power of outdoor play for physical, and social development. Kids spend plenty of time outdoors, enjoying our spacious grassy backyard with garden, sandbox, swing, other play equipment for role play, games, and exploration.

Healthy Nutritious Snacks

We believe in fueling young bodies with healthy, organic meals. Children enjoy a rotating menu of freshly prepared breakfast and nutritious snacks twice each day. Often times children help prepare the snacks and enjoy them on the patio.

The Benefits Of Outdoor Play For Children’s Developmen

The benefits of outdoor play

Physical health and well-being in children. Engaging in activities such as running, jumping, climbing, and cycling helps children develop strength, coordination, and balance. Outdoor play encourages them to engage in physical exercise, which is essential for preventing childhood obesity and maintaining a healthy weight. Regular exposure to natural sunlight also ensures an adequate intake of vitamin D, crucial for bone development and overall immune system.

Imagination and creativity

Playing outdoors stimulates children's imagination and creativity. The outdoors offers endless possibilities for imaginative play. Whether pretending to fly an airplane or making tea with herbs from the garden, the natural environment inspires children to invent their own games and stories. This imaginative play improves their cognitive, language, and narrative skills. Being in nature also stimulates curiosity and a sense of wonder, encouraging children to ask questions and seek answers about the world around them.

Improved motor skills

Outdoor play provides children with ample space to move and develop their motor skills. Activities like climbing, swinging, and running require coordination and balance, helping children improve their gross motor skills. Fine motor skills also come into play when they engage in activities like building sandcastles, threading leaves, or drawing with chalk on the pavement.

It's essential to remember the importance of outdoor play in children's lives. Beyond the joy and fun it brings, outdoor play has a profound impact on various aspects of their development. By promoting physical health, cognitive abilities, emotional well-being, social skills, creativity, and environmental awareness, outdoor play offers a holistic approach to children's growth. As caregivers, educators, and parents, we must encourage and provide opportunities for children to explore and interact with nature. Allow them to run, jump, and explore, as the benefits of outdoor play are invaluable.

  • Every morning our daughter asks to see Maestra Maggie. I feel very comfortable leaving our daughter under her care. Maggie takes a strong interest in the well being and development of kids.

  • Maggie is such a jewel! My husband and I always call her my Jacob's second mom. This job requires a heart, a big heart and that's what she's got!

  • This was my daughter's first time being in a daycare setting, at first she was very shy and timid. She really blossomed and learned a lot thanks to Ms. Maggie. She truly was a grandmother to my daughter.

  • Love, patience and kindness is what kids will receive from Mrs. Maggie.

  • I'm so grateful I have the opportunity to meet Ms. Maggie and for my daughter to be in a place where she is loved and well taken care of.

Maestra Maggie

Hello, my name is Margarita, and I was born in Viña del Mar, Chile. I'm married to a wonderful man. We have two sons, Gabriel and Jonathan, and one dog valentino. My family and I are Christians.

At a very young age, I had the responsibility of helping my sister with the raising of my 5 nephews. With the passing of years, my nephews have told me that they have very warm memories of me (their aunt), and of their childhood. I used to teach them children's songs, games and dances as well as discipline, etc.

When it came time for me to choose a career, I chose a career that had nothing to do with education. I attended the Universidad Federico Santa Maria, Chile, where I studied Pharmaceutical Chemistry. It is only in the past 11 years that I decided to study to be teacher. It is something that has really made me feel accomplished.

Children touch my heart deeply. They amuse me, amaze me, make me feel hopeful and fill me with joy. For 9 years I worked at a bilingual School in Campbell, CA as a teacher. Currently, I attend Mission College in Santa Clara. I'm very happy to be here at my own Daycare. My philosophy is to honor the children's interests, feelings, and development. Personally, I think the use of a game is one way to teach, and to reach the children. I like playing in the patio with them. We have fun when I pretend to be a shark. I say, "I'll eat these children!" They run loudly and laughing hiding from me so that I would not eat them. We also play hide and seek, football, etc.

Children are little people who also deserve respect in all aspects of development, emotional, physical, social, and cognitive. My desire is to continue to educate myself to provide high quality teaching, and to put it into practice with my students.

It is also very important to me to have open communication with the parents. In that way, we can mutually help the children - especially
